Brileigh Computer Services was started by me in 1989 and continued until my retirement in 2022. Now I have retired I will continue adding articles to this site that may be of interest to other programmers.
My work over the years has included DOS database systems using DB3, DB4, Clipper and DataPerfect. I developed a strength in document generating systems initially using WordPerfect, and initially used Clipper, DataPerfect, Microsoft Access and MySQL as the data engines. I then moved from WordPerfect to Microsoft Word for document generation systems and the the more complex generation systems using XML documents and Windward Reports. Other areas I have worked with are HTML and Javascript for very early pre-CSS adoption web applications, and Perl for server side processing. My most recent work has been with Python.
